Higher RPM the pump will spin faster but with thinner oil and a bad pump the pressure will be low or cavitate/air thus triggering the light also.

The scanner indicated Cam Position Sensor. I changed the sensor and also dealt with the intake leak. Since going back together nothing has changed. The automatic tailgate control box makes 3 beeps when it stops in the 1/3 position.
